Project Spotlight: Big Box Retailer
Goal:To develop a highly interactive tools for a large big-box retailer that: searches, presents and retains product information to increase customer retention and conversion from "shopping" to "sale".
Solution: Using proprietary user interface frameworks, we developed a component-based user interfaces that can be deployed on both client and partner websites. The web-tools had no restrictions in their high level of graphical presentation and interaction; the ability to serve custom generated and managed images for highly-interactive user interfaces that include drag and drop among other common interface techniques.
The advantages of our technology is the smallest framework-footprints that allow all the downloaded resources to be devoted to the value-added features of the client interface instead of infrastructure. Also, the framework works across all major browsers without using plug-ins, and can run on greater than 99% of all browsers used today without specialized installs. For our clients, widgets developed in this style can be deployed not only on their own sites, but be marketed and used on partner websites to not only provide value-adds to their partners, but to help drive revenue to their own business via the expansion of the web referral channel: using the web-tool on a partner site is the same as using on their own home page with all the monetization possibilities.
Project Spotlight: Playspan
Goal: Quickly release a public beta of an innovative marketplace for virtual goods.
Solution: By leveraging the expertise of Libson, Inc. Playspan successfully delivered their flagship product to customers and investors on time and on budget. By capitalizing on our experience in building complex, high-volume transactional systems with a distributed development team Playspan was able to get their ideas to market before their competition.
Project Spotlight: Fantasy Sports Revolution
Goal: Create a fast paced fantasy sports gaming experience that is deep enough for the hard core player and accessible enough for the novice. The system must support customized rules, new sports and promotional contests.
Solution: Libson Inc created a customized fantasy sports platform for FSR. This platform allows the system to accept input from multiple stats sources (including manual stats entry). Our customized algorithm for payouts allows the contest administrators to offer contests that will appeal to all players. Adding new sports is a breeze with our carefully designed extensible gaming framework. Scheduled jobs automate the vast majority of the administrative tasks while still allowing the administrators to control users, contests and contest entries.
